God has given us the power to think those thoughts that are contrary to His Word and plan for our lives out of our existence, but we must stay within the boundaries of the Word of God. So don't tell yourself anything that God didn't tell you through his Word. Apostle R.L. Howard

The Sixth Sense

We receive our education about life through the operation of our five senses. However, as Christians, we must never forget that we have access to another sense; the sixth sense, which is accessed only through the Spirit of God. The sixth or the spiritual sense, gives us the ability to believe God no matter what our five senses may be telling us. It is the sixth sense that provides us with the faith we need to trust God and to act on His Word.

AND HE THAT SENT ME IS WITH ME: THE FATHER HATH NOT LEFT ME ALONE; FOR I DO ALWAYS THOSE THINGS THAT PLEASE HIM. ST. JOHN 8:29

On the other hand, using education that does not include God can cause us to act and think contrary to The Word Of God. For example, using our natural education or education that comes through our five senses, we can look at a situation and declare, "things will never change" or "I don’t have any money” and by doing so overlook the fact that God told us that He would supply all of our needs. Yes, it may be true that we do not have any money right now but with the sixth sense we can look at that same situation and declare "that all things will work together for good."  The sixth sense, which is only activated through Jesus Christ and His word, will cause us to triumph over our problems as opposed to being trampled under by them. Activating our sixth sense positions us in a place to see God and His salvation at work in our lives.

THEREFORE I SAY UNTO YOU, WHAT THINGS SOEVER YE DESIRE, WHEN YE PRAY, BELIEVE THAT YE RECEIVE THEM, AND YE SHALL HAVE THEM. ST. MARK 11:24

FOR AS HE THINKETH IN HIS HEART, SO IS HE: PROVERBS 23:7
